Installing PHP and SQL

The first task is to work through the installation steps including installing a text editor, installing MAMP or XAMPP (or equivalent), creating a MySql Database, and writing a PHP program. There are separate instructions for (1) Macintosh, (2) Windows, and (3) Bash on Windows-10.
